Beautiful Comorian women in chiromani
Symbol of beauty, tradition, and Comorian and Mahoran elegance, the chiromani is an essential fabric and very popular on the archipelago. It is a traditional red and white, black and burgundy two-tone cotton fabric, formed of 6 tiles repeating the same pattern.
Throughout the archipelago, we meet a woman dressed with the palmirum. They wear this traditional clothing in all occasions of life. During weddings, festive ceremonies, traditional or religious, this traditional outfit is a sensation among Comorians or Mahoraises.
How to wear it?
This traditionnal clothe can be worn like a veil or envelop the entire woman’s body. Generally, women dress in this kind of clothing to please their husbands. Young as an older woman, everyone falls for the chiromaniac.
