Wedding in the heart of the Caribbean Maycie and Chris

« I always knew that I did not want my wedding ceremony to be traditional, so the highlight of the weekend was when we took our 82 guests on six boats to the heart of the Caribbean. Maycie explains.

In search of an epic and exceptional marriage, Maycie and Chris have chosen as a Cartagena wedding destination in Colombia. Their wedding party lasted 3 days. The guests first rented two buses to walk all their guests in the city of Cartagena in Colombia. Music, dance, they all party on the bus eating empanadas.

Ceremony in the turquoise water of the Caribbean.

To make their epic moment, they decided to get married in the middle of the Caribbean with all their friends and families.

How did all this happen?

Early in the morning, six boats came looking for the newlyweds and their guests. All the boats formed a circle around them. And that’s when our lovers said “yes”. Bordered by the oceans, this wedding was a unique and magical moment. The newlyweds and their 82 guests spontaneously decided to jump into the water. Laughs, swimming, joys, it was an exceptional moment.

After the ceremony, head to Bendita Beach.

The reception continued on the private island of Bendita Beach. A troupe of dancers and drummers dressed in carnival costumes came to spice up the evening for a hora loca.

Congratulations to Maycie and Chris for their very original wedding.
