Ndebele inspired swimwear by Mara Hoffman

Hello friends, welcome to Afroculture.net. For our first article, we are going to talk about South African Ndebele fashion. I came across a collection of original and exotic swimsuits from designer Mara Hoffman.

Mara Hoffman is a talented New York designer, who launched her brand in the 2000s. Very original, she is known for her creations which highlight daring prints, associated with flashy colors.

She went to the two very prestigious fashion schools Parsons School of Design in New York, and the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. It derives its originality from very original prints. Mara draws her inspiration from her travels and nature. She has launched a wild * collection inspired by Africa, India and Latin America.

The best thing about this 2011 collection is that it is inspired by the Ndebele tribe of South Africa and Zimbabwe. The Ndebele are known worldwide for their atypical paintings, which decorate their homes.

This swimwear collection is inspired by the Ndebele culture. We discover swimsuits (black, white and blue) with geometric and multicolored prints.
In addition, the designer has also put on dresses and pretty beach outfits.
