Sandra Bullock presents her adopted children Louis & Laila | Multiracial Family

When I see this world full of prejudices and often racist. I am happy to see multiracial families, which prove that love has no color. Whether of different origins or skin colors, they all have the common point of preaching the love of difference. They live an authentic love everyday. The actress Sandra Bullock is a mega star. To be totally fulfilled, she decided to use adoption to be a fulfilled mother.
After earning an Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side, the actress made plans to adopt a cute African-American boy named Louis.

The first time I met Louis it was like the whole outside world just got quiet. He was so small, so still. All the trivial things that I had allowed to take up so much of my time just didn’t have room in life anymore. All I said when I met him was, ‘Oh there you are.’ It was like he had always been a part of our lives. “
I had no idea what love was[before Louis], I had no idea what lack of sleep was. I had no idea what milestones felt like. “

Very happy with this experience, she decided in December 2015 to adopt her second child, Sandra, a 3-year-old girl from Louisiana, who was in foster care. Laila joins her brother Louis, 5, whom Bullock adopted in 2010.

When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” says Bullock in the latest issue of People. “I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.”

Laila

Sandra Bullock had first taken care of Laila with a host family. She revealed that her daughter brought “rose and glitter, added to Legos and Batmans”. “When she joined our family,” said Bullock, “she was scared, I wanted her to know that Louis and I would still be here.”

My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding.”

Years later, in another interview with the magazine about motherhood, the Minions actress had continued.

There are so many variations of families out there that are perfect. My family looks nothing like I ever imagined it would. It’s better than I ever imagined.”

Following the racial climate in the United States, Sandra Bullock told Zoe Kazan that she feared for her son.

I want my son to be safe, I want my son to be judged for the man he is, we are at a point now where if we don’t do something, we will have destroyed so many amazing people have done“. Of course, she offered nothing new or substantive about the racial climate in the United States.

To celebrate her children, the 51-year-old actress introduced her family on the cover of People magazine. She poses with Laila, but also with her son, Louis, 5 years old.

Love is a wonderful feeling, which is not determined by the color of someone’s skin. Love transcends prejudices and jealousies. Love has no interest. So friends, let’s love each other. If you have the chance to adopt a child, it does not matter what skin color you have. Do it! Because who saves a life, save humanity!
