Afro-Brazilian top-model Emanuela de Paula married the professional photographer Gaston Levy on 12 December 2012 in Bahia, Brazil, in a paradisiacal setting.
Emanuela de Paula explains:

We met six years ago on a trip I made to Tulum, Mexico, for a job. This was the beginning of my career, I remember that he did not speak English and he was one of the only people I understand because he spoke Spanish. We exchanged emails, but we knew there was something special between us. The first kiss was there exactly two years ago, in December 2010. We are communicating by phone for two months, until there was a possibility that I would go back and find ourselves. Our relationship from the beginning was beautiful and complete.»

Lovers chose the date of December 12, 2012 to get married outdoors, in front of more 120 people including couples Cintia Dicker and Rico Mansur and Carol Trentini and Fabio Bartelt.
Emanuela wore a Lebanese silk dress of Elie Saab with a long veil, her hair tied in a bun and in her hand a simple bouquet. And the groom, a complete Burberry suit.
Their wedding took place outdoors, on the tropical beach in Bahia, Brazil.
To the sound of the song “illusion” of Marisa Monte and Julieta Venegas, the bride walked with her father, Ely José de Paula, on a lawn of covered flowers.

There were many distinguished guests like Eva Longoria and Sarah Jessica Parker. The ceremony was led by the Brazilian minister Erivaldo and the Argentine priest Osvaldo.
After the end of the wedding, the lovers went on honeymoon in Argentina, at Estancia Dos Lunas in Cordoba.
