Coronavirus: Rihanna donates $ 5 million to fight this pandemic
A woman with a big heart and a great philanthropist, Rihanna donated $ 5 million (approximately 4.6 million euros) to fight the coronavirus pandemic through her Clara Lionel Foundation.
Very involved in this fight, she plans to make several donations to various organizations in the United States, Africa and the Caribbean to cope with the virus. The associations Partners In Health, Direct Relief, Feeding America and even the WHO will be the beneficiaries of this donation.

What will this money be used for?
This money will provide medical protection equipment to populations and to doctors and nurses. It will also help the poorest countries to obtain tests and care. This donation will also be used to offer food to the most modest.
Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley announced that the singer from Barbados had made a donation of $ 700,000 so that the island could quickly acquire respirators.
The Clara Lionel Foundation has also approached the Feeding America food bank to help the poorest as much as possible in the period of confinement that is opening.
In addition, Rihanna and Jack Dorsey donated $ 4.2 million to help victims of family violence affected by the COVID-19 quarantine.
